Relaxing Yoga Poses Which Will Help You Sleep Like A Baby

If you have trouble falling asleep at night, especially as a result of the pains in the back, you need to relax with the help of 4 very simple exercises.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Relaxing Pose

With this pose you relax your back from the stress that’s overwhelming you during the entire day, especially in the hip and waist area.

How to do it?

  • Lay on your back and relax
  • Pull the knees towards your chest
  • Inhale deeply while strongly hugging the knees and pull toward your face
  • Exhale and pull back the legs
  • Breathe deeply during the entire time
  • Do this exercise for one minute
  1. Legs on the wall

In this pose you are relaxing the legs and the back, and in the meantime, you are opening your chest and you are able to breathe easily.

How to do it?

  • Place a pillow under your lower back and the butt
  • Lay on that way pushing the butt on the wall
  • Stay in this position for about one minute
  1. Wave poses

With this exercise you will relax the back, the legs and the neck.

Step number 1:

  • Lay on your back
  • Swing your legs from one side to another in the most relaxing way you can, and while doing that, swing your head from one side to the other.
  • Do this exercise for around one minute.

Step number 2:

  • Lay on your back, place a pillow under your head and under your lower back.
  • Swing your legs to one side to another and do the same thing with your head
  • Do the exercise for one minute.
  1. „Savasana“

It would be best to do this exercise before going to sleep in order to relax and to be able to fall asleep more easily.

How to do it?

  • Lay on your back, separate the legs a little bit as well as your hands
  • Relax your entire body and breathe deeply around 20 times
  • Slowly you are going to notice that your body is relaxing completely
